Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MetaMule Enterprise is made by Pursuit Labs, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Our mailing address is 333 Crockett Blvd #540393, Merritt Island, FL 32954, USA. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: support@metamule.io.

2. What we collect

Account information

The email address of each person who signs in. Signing in is passwordless. We email a 6-digit code, and we store only a keyed cryptographic hash of it until it is used or expires. Once you sign in, the app keeps a device token, and we keep a record of that device session. We store the session as a hash, never as a usable token, with a device label the app reports, which is your computer's name and its operating system (for example "Studio-iMac · Mac"), and when the session was created and last used. We also record which version of our Terms you accepted and when.

Sign-up protection

When a new account is created we record the IP address, the email address and the time, so we can limit how many accounts one source creates.

Feedback

If you send feedback from the app, we receive it by email together with your account email.

Labeling usage

For each person, per day: the number of labeling calls, and the number of input and output tokens those calls used. We use this to understand usage and our own costs, and to administer your organization's agreement.

Mail

Mail from us, including sign-in codes, comes from hello@metamule.io.

Website

This website runs no analytics and no scripts. It sets no cookies, uses no trackers, and builds no profile of you. If that ever changes we will say so here first.

3. What we do not collect

• Your video. Video files are never uploaded to us. Only the extracted frames pass through our server, as described below.
• Your labels. The labels MetaMule Enterprise produces come back to your computer and stay there.
• Payment card details. There is no checkout in the app or on this website. Billing is handled under your organization's written agreement.

4. How your video is handled

To label a clip, MetaMule Enterprise extracts frames from it on your computer and sends only those frames, through our server at api.metamule.io, to a third-party AI provider, which returns labels.

• Frames are reduced to 768 pixels wide and made in memory. They are not saved to your disk.
• Along with the frames, the app sends the clip's file name (without its extension) and its duration, frame rate and resolution. The labels refer to the clip by that name.
• The frames pass through our server and are not written to storage by us.
• The labels come back to your computer and stay there.

5. Why we process this data

• To provide the Service: signing you in and labeling your clips. (Performance of our contract with you.)
• To administer your organization's agreement and keep records required for tax and accounting. (Contract. Legal obligation.)
• To support you when you contact us. (Contract. Legitimate interests.)
• To protect the Service against abuse, and to understand aggregate cost and reliability. (Legitimate interests.)

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run MetaMule Enterprise, for these purposes:

• A third-party AI provider: AI processing of extracted frames.
• Cloudflare: hosting, our server, our database and this website.
• Resend: delivery of sign-in codes and other mail from us.

We may also disclose information if legally required, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business. In that case this Policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

7. How long we keep it

• Sign-in codes: until used or expired, a matter of minutes.
• Account email and device sessions: while the account exists.
• Sign-up records: kept for now. We will set a deletion period and update this Policy.
• Labeling usage: as long as we need it to administer your organization's agreement.
• Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share your personal information. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9. Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Sign-in codes and device sessions are stored on our side only as hashes. On your computer the device token is encrypted with your operating system's keychain. Our AI provider credentials live on our server and are never included in the application. No system is perfectly secure, but the strongest protection here is structural: we don't hold your video, so there is no video of yours to lose.

10. Children

MetaMule Enterprise is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and our providers may process data there and in other countries.

12. Changes

We will post any changes here with a new version and date, and give notice in the app or by email before material changes take effect.
